These oak boards are selected during the logs sawin. The typical brown color is given by the minerals in the ground, this is one of the particularity of the vosges and haute marne forest in east France, this will give you an original antique look.

We offer this product in only one grade which is described as character, with knots of 5/6 cm approx, some minor splits and sapwood.

Product specification :

• Solid oak floor boards kiln dried between 8 and 10% maximum of moisture content
• Tongue and groove end matched (4 sides) or simply square edge for the wide board
• Thickness : 22 mm (1 inch)
• Width : only in mixed size from 140 up to 200 mm (5 to 9 inches)
• Length : well proportioned per order, from 1000 up to 2000 mm (3 to 8 foot)

This product is supplied unfinished, and requires, light sanding and finish with oil, wax, or varnish of your choice.
