These wide oak boards are specially selected from the sawmill in East France, and prepared in the village of Liffol le Grand in the area called Les Vosges, which is the furniture capital of France. This floor will give a great look to any large room or period property.

We offer this product in only one grade which is described as character, with knots of 5/6 cm approx, some minor splits and sapwood.

Product specification

• Solid oak floor boards kiln dried between 8 and 10% maximum of moisture content
• Tongue and groove end matched (4 sides) or simply square edge for the wide board
• Thickness: 22mm (1 inch)
• Width : standard sizes are usually : 200 / 220 / 250 / mm (8 to 11 inches)
• Length : well proportioned per order, from 1000 up to 2000mm (3 to 8 foot)

This product is supplied unfinished , and requires light sanding and finish with oil, wax, or varnish of your choice.
