These Oak boards are sourced from the most reputable forest of East France, la Lorraine.
The grain of wood of this area is very appreciated by the furniture and oak barrel maker.
This flooring provide a vast variation of grain effect which can’t be found elsewhere.

We offer 3 different grades:

Rustic : large knots , with occasional worm holes and split , ideal for the very old appeal and look

Character : knots of 4cm of diameter maximum, without any split or major defect , this floor can be used for a country look and will suit also a more modern design.

Selection : without knots, or trace of sapwood, and major dis-colouration in the grain
This product is selected for the contemporary style, the must have for people who want a look of perfection.

Product specification :

• Solid oak floor boards kiln dried between 8 and 10% maximum of moisture content
• Tongue and groove end matched (4 sides)
• Thickness: 22mm ( 1 inch)
• Width : standard sizes are usually : 140 / 160 / 180 / 200mm (5 to 7 inches)
• Length : well proportioned per order, from 1500 up to 2000 mm (3 to 8 foot)

This product is supplied unfinished, and requires filling (rustic grade), light sanding and finish with oil, wax, or varnish of your choice.
