Can you just turn up to purchase feather edge cladding?Unfortunately not all featheredge cladding is cut to order. One of the office staff will call you when its ready to collect which is normally around 2-3 business days after we have received your order.

How do I calculate the quantity of cladding I require?For 175mm wide cladding we use the following to calculate the linear metres you would need to order: Calculate the square metres of the building. Length x height minus any door or window openings. Times the SQM by 8 and this will give you the Linear Metres which includes an overlap of 50mm. For 200mm wide cladding we use the following to calculate the linear metres you would need to order: Calculate the square metres of the building. Length x height minus any door and window openings. Multiply the SQM by 6.67 and this will give you the Linear Metres which includes an overlap of 50mm. Tongue & Groove Cladding We stock T&G in various lengths so the calculation will alter dependant on the length. Calculate the square metres of the building. Length x height minus any door and window openings. Calculate the coverage of each Cladding board, multiply the length by 0.125 e.g. 3m x 0.125 = 0.375 sqm Divide the SQM by 0.375 and this will give you the number of lengths you need to order. Example: 40 sqm / 0.375 = 107 boards (3m)

How do I calculate the weight of an item?To calculate the weight of Oak, multiply the width (cm) x depth (cm) x length (cm) and divide by 1000 to get your approx. weight per beam in kg.

Are you open on the weekends?I'm afraid we are only open Monday to Friday between 9am - 5pm. Please also call in advance if your planning on popping in to ensure someone is in the yard to great you.

Can I have my order delivered?Yes you can have your order delivered. We offer both local and nationwide delivery services. Local deliveries are charged on a mileage basis from our timber yard. Please call for prices and availability. Nationwide deliveries are provided by a third party freight company. Please see the Delivery Information page for further delivery information.

Can I collect my order?Yes, we are able to collect your order. We will contact you once we have sorted the order and on your arrival we will endeavour to help you load your order.

Does the prices online include the VAT?Yes the prices on the web site is inclusive of the VAT.

Can I come to the yard without ordering?Yes you can come to the yard if you wish to view or purchase our products directly from the yard. Please call the office prior to your arrival to ensure someone is in the yard.
